The picture is not of Major Dalim's wife but of a Pakistani model

Exclusive news has seen that the photo of former Pakistani model Fauzia Saeed Hai is being circulated claiming to be the wife of Major Dalim.

It is said that a video with some pictures is shared on multiple IDs, pages and groups of social media Facebook, the pictures are of the wife of the then major (later lieutenant colonel) Shariful Haque Dalim, who was involved in the murder of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's family. On August 27, a Facebook account named ' Mahamoud Moon ' posted a reel video with several pictures, saying, " Major Dalim's wife and Major Dalim. Major Dalim is alive. " See the screenshot of the Facebook post--

Fact Check: 

Exclusive news has verified that the claim of the post in question is incorrect. The pictures in question are not of Major Dalim's wife, but the woman in the picture, Fauzia Saeed Hai, a former model of Pakistan.

 After cutting the keyframes from the video, a reverse image search was found on Flickr, an online image and video storage website, from an account called " Dr Ghulam Nabi Kazi ". The image is captioned, " A glamorous shot of Fawzia Saeed Hai ". That is, the name of the woman in the photo is Fawzia Saeed Hai. However, no identity of the woman in the photo is given there. A further search found a photo series titled " Khwaja Saeed Hai and Fawzia Saeed Hai- Tennis legend " from the same Flickr account. The images shown in the video in question can be found in that series of films. According to the description of the film, Fauzia married Pakistani tennis star Khawaja Saeed Hai in 1960. She was the first woman from Pakistan to model for Lux. See screenshot-- 

Also, a photo of model Fauzia with her husband and child was also posted from the account. It is mentioned that model Fauzia Saeed Hai died in 1967 at the age of 28. The woman shown in the said picture and Fauzia Saeed Hai are the same person. See screenshot--

Later , a Facebook page managed by the name of model Fauzia Saeed Hai was found by searching more keywords . As mentioned in the intro of the page, the page is managed by Fauzia Saeed's daughter. Many pictures of Fauzia Saeed Hai can be seen on that Facebook page. The woman in the post in question and the photo of the woman shown on the Facebook page can be confirmed to be the same person.

That is, the picture shown in the discussion post is not of Major Dalim's wife. The pictures are of Pakistani tennis star Khawaja Saeed Hai's wife and former Pakistani model Fauzia Saeed Hai.

So a photo of model Fauzia Saeed Hai, wife of Pakistani tennis star Khawaja Saeed Hai, is being circulated on Facebook claiming to be Major Dalim's wife, which is misleading.
